You may not be able to change the nature of your sensitive skin, but you can follow the following tips to hide your sensitive skin symptoms:
1. Avoid long hot showers
It's time to replace the long hot shower with a shorter, warmer shower. Why? Sensitive skin usually has a negative reaction to exposure to heat, which will damage the skin's lipid barrier. Melissa pilliang, MD, told self: "Think of it as butter on a knife. If you put it under cold water, the fat on the knife won't go anywhere. But if you put it under warm water, those lipids will melt. This is the same problem as the lipid layer in our skin. If you put your skin in hot water or use irritating soap, it will often wash away the protective fat layer outside."
2. Pay attention to incentives
One of the best ways to manage symptoms of sensitive skin is to understand the environmental and lifestyle triggers that cause skin reactions. The more you know, the more you can identify them and take preventive measures. Triggers vary from person to person, but usually include:
。 Seasonal variation
。 Stress and lack of sleep
。 contaminated
。 Dehydration
